Why is Taskfolk so much cheaper than the tools it compares to?
Two reasons, and neither is a discount. Read-only teammates are free with no cap, so the seat count is only the people changing work, and every feature ships on every plan instead of being staged across tiers. Paid plans are $3 and $6 per builder per month.
What counts as a builder and what counts as a viewer?
A builder creates or changes work: issues, comments, statuses, sprints. A viewer reads the board, follows a project, and opens reports. Viewers are free on every plan, including Free, with no cap on how many you add.
Are AI agents billed as seats?
No. An agent joins the workspace as a named member with its own profile, attribution, and API key, and it never counts as a billed seat. Every plan also includes a monthly pool of AI credits, Free included.
Can I import from the tool I am on now?
Taskfolk imports directly from Jira, Linear, ClickUp, Asana, Monday, and Trello using an API token, and from CSV for anything else, Notion included. Titles, types, statuses, priorities, assignees, labels, descriptions, comments, due dates, and estimates come across.
